DAY 1 : Arrival at Chennai International Airport

 

Arrival assistance at Chennai International Airport for your South India Tour Package , then transfer to the hotel. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Chennai

 

DAY 2 : Chennai

 

 After the breakfast start your Chennai Metropolitan City Trip by visiting some of the important sightseeing places of Chennai like Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, St. Thomas Church, Marina Beach and Kapaleeswarar Temple. One more night stay in Chennai

 

DAY 3 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram

 

In the morning, Start your journey to have a Temple Trip in Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram, the capital city of Pallava Dynasty. Visit the important temples like Ekambareswarar Temple dedicated for Lord Shiva, One of the three principal deities of Hindus. Then have a short drive to Kailasanathar Temple, One of the ancient temple with beautiful sculptures and stone carvings. Have a lunch in the city.  Have a visit to the Silk Weaving Centre where you can have a demonstration of weaving process. Drive to Mahabalipuram, a seaport city of Pallava Dynasty. DAY 4 : Mahabalipuram

 

After the breakfast, have a short drive to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Monumental Trip. First, to the Sea Shore Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu, and then to Five Rathas "Five Chariots", a monolithic structure, representing a unique style built by the pallavas, then finally to Arjuna's Penance. DAY 5 : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

 

In the morning, drive to Pondicherry (Puducherry) "The French Colony". Check-in to the hotel. In the late afternoon start your Pondicherry City Trip by visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram, an Ashram dedicated to Sri Aurobindo & "The Mother". Have a visit to "The Church of Sacred Heart" and "Notre dame des Anges", French Colony and markets. Have a rickshaw ride in the commercial streets. Have a rest in the hotel. DAY 6 : Pondicherry - Gangaikondacholapuram - Darasuram Temple - Tanjore

DAY 7 : Thanjavur

DAY 8 : Thanjavur - Trichy

DAY 9 : Trichy - Chettinadu

DAY 10 : Chettinadu - Madurai

DAY 11 : Madurai - Periyar (Thekkady)

DAY 12 : Thekkady

DAY 13 : Thekkady - Alleppey Houseboat

In the afternoon check in the houseboat and have a delicious lunch and enjoy the cruise in the Vembanadu Lake by passing through its canals for about 5 hours. Your boat will be stopped at one place. DAY 14 : Alappuzha - Cochin

In the late afternoon have a visit to some important monuments and churches belongs to 15th and 16th centuries. DAY 15 : Kochi

DAY 16 : Kochi - Ooty

 

 In the morning drive to have a Hill Station Trip in Ooty, the queen of hill stations. Have a visit to the famous Botanical Garden and Rose Garden. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Ooty

 

DAY 17 : Ooty

 

 Full day relax in the resort. Have a walk to the spice markets. One more night stay in Ooty

 

DAY 18 : Ooty - Mysore

 

In the morning have Sports/Adventure on the way to Mysore (Mysuru). Today you are going to cross two wildlife reserves namely Mudumalai Forest and Bandipur National Park. You can able to see some animals while you are in travelling. Continue your drive. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Mysuru

 

DAY 19 : Mysuru

 

In the morning, you can set yourself for a Heritage Trip in Mysore. Have a visit to the Mysore Maharaja Palace, a huge complex belongs to 19th century designed by an Italian architect "Henry Irwin" and built by the Wodeyars. Then have a drive to Chamundi Hills to visit the famous Chamundeshwari Temple. In the afternoon have a drive to visit the famous historical city "Srirangapatna", the capital city of great muslim warrior Tipu Sultan. One more night stay in Mysuru

 

DAY 20 : Mysuru - Hassan

 

After the breakfast, drive for a sculptural Trip in Hassan. Enroute visit the most popular Jain pilgrimage centre called "Shravanabelogola". This place is known for its Colossal monolithic statue of Gomateshwara. If you are not able to climb 650 km, you can hire DOLI service and pay directly. Then continue your drive. In the late afternoon have a short drive to visit the Hoysaleshwara temple in a small village called Halebid and Chenna Kesava Temple at Belur. Both the temples belong to the Hoysala dynasty of 12th century depicts the detailed architecture of Hoysala dynasty. Drive back to the hotel. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Hassan

 

DAY 21 : Hassan - Bangalore

 

In the morning, drive to Bangalore (Bengaluru) for the Garden City Trip. Visit the famous Lal Bagh Gardens and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace in the City. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Bengaluru

 

DAY 22 : Departure from Bengaluru

 

 This day you will be ended up with the India Tour of South   Memories. You will be transferred to Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru as per your flight schedule back to home!
